About the artist
Soft Boys Club was founded by artist and entrepreneur, Olive, in 2024 with a simple belief: that everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Olive created the brand to build an inclusive community where self-expression is encouraged and authenticity is celebrated.
Olive is passionate about expanding representation for trans-masculine folks to include those who love bright colors, seek out whimsy, and refuse to conform to societal expectations of masculinity.
Olive designs all of our products, packaging, and branding. Along with running Soft Boys Club, Olive also dabbles in freelance illustration, commission artwork, social media, branding and logo design, social media consulting and management, small business consulting, and sign mural work. They love working with clients to help their creative visions come to life and are eager to share the skills they've learned on their creative journey.
Our story
Olive started out vending at art markets, where they saw a lack of trans centered small businesses. Almost every weekend, Olive and their supportive business boyfriend, Charlie would pack up all their things and set up booths across the bay area with the hope of connecting with other trans folks.
Through markets, Olive found a community of people who deeply resonated with their work. They realized that, like them, members of the trans-masculine community weren't used to seeing themselves in a joyful light. When trans-masculinity was represented at all it was often serious, tough, and perpetuated binary standards of masculinity.
Additionally, many cis-men were moved by the softness depicted in Olive's work. They hadn't seen many portrayals of masculine people as gentle, vulnerable, or in need of care.
Olive created Soft Boys Club with the intention of making a home for soft masculinity. Since then Soft Boys Club has been bringing joy and a sense of belonging to masculine folks everywhere.
Our impact
We're committed to making a real difference. We donate 10% of our profits to trans organizations that support the communities we serve, as well as trans individuals in need of funds. Every purchase you make helps us give back and create meaningful change.
